IMAN “URBAN EXOTIC Spring Sweepstakes” Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PAYMENT OR PURCHASE OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE CHANCE OF WINNING.
TO ENTER: Fill out the entry form online with your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. The online promotion period begins June 1, 2005 and ends June 30, 2005. Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, age 19 or older. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law. Employees and their families of IMAN Cosmetics and their respective subsidiaries and affiliates (“Sponsors”) are not eligible to participate. Sponsors are not responsible for late, lost, illegible, misdirected or garbled entries or failures resulting from computer hardware, software or Internet malfunctions. Sponsors reserve the right to cancel or suspend this sweepstakes should a virus, unauthorized human intervention, malfunction, interruption, computer problem, phone line or network, hardware or software malfunction or other causes beyond the Sponsors’ control materially affect the administration, fairness, security, proper play or conduct of the sweepstakes. Three (3) winners will be chosen at random on or about the first week of July, 2005 and notified by e-mail, mail or telephone. Odds of winning depend up on number of eligible entries received.
PRIZE AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE: One (1) First Place Winner: IMAN Cosmetics Urban Exotic Gift Bag. (ARV: $150). Two (2) Additional Winners: IMAN Urban Exotic Gift Bag. (ARV: $75). No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted and prize June not be redeemable for cash value. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Potential First winner will need to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form within 14 days of attempted notification. Noncompliance within this timeframe June result in disqualification and alternate winner selection. Prize consists of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. Entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission to use winner’s name, photograph or likeness and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree to release and hold harmless Sponsors from any liability arising out of participation in this promotion and/or the acceptance and use of the prizes. Winner is solely responsible for payment of all applicable taxes payable on the prizes. In the event any dispute arises regarding the sweepstakes, each participant agrees that such dispute should be resolved by applying the law of New York. To receive the winner's name, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to IMAPALA Inc, IMAN Urban Exotic Spring Sweepstakes Winner’s Name, 363 7th Ave., 8th Floor, New York, NY 10001, after June 30, 2005.
IMAN “URBAN EXOTIC Spring Sweepstakes” Procedure
A total of 3 winners will be selected in a drawing to be conducted on (date), 2005. Winners will be determined by officials of IMAN Cosmetics, whose decisions are final.
Winners of these prizes will be selected by random draw and announced on the first week of July, 2005.
• Winners will be notified by email in the first week of July, 2005.
• A winner must respond in 3 days with complete shipping details in order to claim the prize.
• If a prize has not been claimed in 3 days, a second winner will be chosen and announced.
• Delivery of the prizes is in the hands of the sponsors.
The requirements for participation are simple:
1. Your e-mail address MUST be current
2. Your location must be within US territories.
If the above qualifications are met by June 30, 2005, your name will be included in the draw.
A numbered database of all the qualified participants will be prepared. Tickets will be pulled from a numbered ticket roll. Each name will be assigned a ticket number. All the assigned tickets will be placed in a sealed container, and then shaken up. A ticket will be drawn for the prize listed. This procedure will be repeated a number of times. Ticket numbers are then matched to database names.
